16th January 2025

The Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev Jonathan Gibbs, launched a year of celebrations to mark the 800th anniversary of St Mary's Horton Kirby Church building at a service at St Mary's on 12 January.

Throughout 2025 there will be a series of talks, concerts, and exhibitions to welcome people to St Mary's, especially those who don't normally go to church.

Around £200,000 needs to be raised for repairs to save this historic building. St Mary's receives no financial assistance from national or local government or from Church bodies. We have to be self-sufficient to survive.
