Celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE day with us

Join your community for a special day of remembrance and celebration on Thursday, May 8th, 2025.

9.00 am - Raising of the VE Day 80 flag by HK Bowls Club

6.30 pm - Ringing of Church bells at St. Mary’s Church

7.00pm The Village Hall

Tea, coffee & cake – hosted by the British Legion* Fish & Chips from van 23, Howe & Co.*

8.00pm Songs from the 1940’s performed live by Peter Snipp

9.30 pm VE Day Tribute - read by Sevenoaks District Chair Cllr Laurence Ball

Space is limited in the Village hall, please contact the Parish office if you would like to reserve a seat(s) and/or intend to buy food from the Fish & Chip van
